Greg Kelly, President
Mr. Kelly has 25 years of experience in the Telecommunications, Internet and Media industries.
Prior to founding TelJet Longhaul, Kelly was CIO at Oxygen Media, which raised $600 million to launch the Oxygen cable channel. Before that he was vice president of product development at Navis Technologies. He also co-founded and served as vice president of R&D at CatchTV, where he raised $2 million in venture funds to develop technology connecting a TV viewer to topically related websites using a remote control. He holds the patent for that device.
Kelly founded NuMagic Corporation, which developed wireless keyboards and remote controls for use on PCs. This technology was incorporated into products for WebTV, IBM and Compaq. At DigiVox, he developed “Sound Impression,” one of the first and best-selling audio recording and editing programs for Windows OS.
Mr. Kelly serves on the board of the Flynn Theater. He is a resident of South Burlington, Vermont.
Doug Hyde, Chairman
Mr. Hyde has 20 years of experience in the energy industry and general management. He was President/CEO of Green Mountain Power Corporation and a Director of GMP, Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation, Vermont Electric Power Company and the Edison Electric Institute.
He led the formation and capitalization of Green Mountain Energy, a national provider of “green” electricity, and served as its first chief executive.
Presently, he is an advisor to early-stage businesses and a Director of LPA Design, Inc., developer of the PocketWizard brand of wireless remote triggering devices sold to photographers world-wide.
Active throughout his career in community organizations, Mr. Hyde has served as Director and Chairman of the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont. He has held leadership positions on the governing boards of the Vermont State Colleges and, most recently, of Wake Robin Corporation. He was the founder of the Vermont School Leadership Project.
Mr. Hyde is a resident of Grand Isle, Vermont.
David Storandt, Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Storandt has 16 years of IP and telco networking experience. He has advised and built critical systems for both technology and business aspects of CLECs, banks, high-tech startups, and independent telcos.
Mr. Storandt holds a BS Chemical Engineering degree and a MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He has held Cisco CCNP and CCDP certifications and is active in Vermont Mensa. He is an avid gardener, homebrewer, and woodworker.
